Kelly Dougherty
Kelly Dougherty is an Iraq veteran, resource counselor, anti-war organizer, and public health professional. Kelly worked in the Army National Guard for 8 years. After completing a year-long deployment to Iraq in 2004, she helped found Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW). As part of IVAW, she called for an end to the occupation of Iraq and reparations for the Iraqi people. The group, now called About Face: Veterans Against the War, continues to organize against war and militarism. She has worked on the GI Rights Hotline and is currently the Counseling Director at the Center on Conscience and War.
