Katerina Canyon is the Executive Director of the Peace Economy Project, where she leads research and advocacy on the impacts of U.S. militarization at home and abroad. Her work focuses on how language, media, and policy narratives shape public understanding of war, policing, and national security. She has published analyses and led public programming on militarization, nonviolent alternatives, and narrative strategy. Katerina is also a poet and with an MFA whose creative work explores memory, power, and collective imagination, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to communication, storytelling, and peacebuilding.
