Kimmy Igla has been an active leader in anti-nuclear work in Kansas City for 5 years. She is a member of the board of the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability (ANA). She has been to numerous ANA DC lobby days and ANA fall meetings around the country. She has been on the board of PeaceWorks – Kansas City and Physicians for Social Responsibility – KC. She has made numerous anti-nuclear presentations in Kansas City and participated in non-violent protests at the KC National Security Campus, which makes/procures 80% of the parts for U.S. nuclear weapons, mechanical and electromagnetic in nature.
