Ann Suellentrop
Ann is a Masters-prepared Pediatric nurse, retired after a 45 year career. She is a medical Spanish interpreter and participated in mission trips throughout Latin America, including war-torn El Salvador and Colombia. She is Vice-Chair of PeaceWorks-KC and a board member for 18 years. She is on the national board of Physicians for Social Responsibility and a past president of the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability. She has advocated for sick workers from the highly contaminated former nuclear weapons plant at the Bannister Federal Complex in Kansas City, founded in 1949. She led opposition to the new plant opened in 2014, the KC National Security Campus.
