During her husband’s illegal ICE detention, she fought without lawyers across four federal jurisdictions to reunite her family, and won. A Federal judge called the detention “flat-out wrong,” and the government’s attorney apologized in open court for “the mistake.” She is the wife of Zahid Chaudhry, a U.S. military veteran, and the daughter of a retired Naval Commander with multiple combat tours overseas.
