Robert Blessing

Chaplain (Col), US Army (retired)

Robert Blessing earned his Master of Divinity Degree in 1984 at Church Divinity School of the Pacific Seminary in Berkeley CA. Not long after, he began serving as an Episcopal priest in Seattle and later as a Missionary in Korea. He signed on as an Army Chaplain in 1993, both active and Reserve, trained to promote the spiritual and personal well-being of members of the Department of the Army. Blessing served three deployments after 9/11, two which were in Iraq. He retired in August of 2018 with 25 years of service. He now assists veterans recovering from the moral and spiritual injuries by walking with veterans on pilgrimages in Spain and upon the beaches of San Diego. He volunteers with the Unified United States Deported Veterans Resource Center in Tijuana Mexico
