Jason Mizula

Member, Veterans for Peace Hawaii Chapter 113

Jayson Robert Mizula is a farmer, poet, and settler who lives on the island of Molokai in the U.S. occupied Nation of Hawaii with his wife, Bahar, their two young boys, Omid Soleil Handala and Azad Morze Zaytoun, their dogs, Bumpy, Bagel, Lulu, and Rocky, their cat, Gaza. He is an Iraq War veteran with the U.S. Army National Guard and has nearly two years of sea time with the U.S. Coast Guard. He is a member of Veterans for Peace Hawaii Chapter 113 and About Face: Veterans Against the War. He spent the summer of 2011 in Palestine, and that fall participating in Occupy Boston alongside VFP’s Smedley Butler Brigade. He has been active locally and globally ever since and he longs to see freedom, justice, and equality, from every river to every sea, from Palestine to Hawaii.
